Welcome to Haunt Bristol! This site uncovers the hidden heritage and spooky secrets of Bristol. It delves into all things alternative, Gothic and Goth within the city and beyond.
From dark tales and tours of the historic harbour to dramatic architecture, and even covering the thriving underground music scene, Haunt is a platform that opens-up another side to the city.
Haunt Bristol is a sister site to Haunt Manchester. It is co-ordinated by Visit Bristol in collaboration with a team of journalists and researchers at Manchester Metropolitan University, which is home to the Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies, the Manchester Centre for Public History and Heritage and the Encountering Corpses project.
